CSA President's Award

The president and board of directors is pleased to announce the recipients of this year's CSA PRESIDENT'S AWARD.

Instituted in 2003, the award recognizes members who have served the CSA in an outstanding capacity, making a significant contribution to the success of the association.

RON & ALICE ANTHONY (Stevensville Ontario – Largo Florida) have been loyal volunteers at three successive Extravaganzas. They have also travelled to volunteer at Winter Information Meetings in Clearwater and Ocala and have helped with distributing flyers and posters in their park and neighbouring areas.

DANIEL & IRENE FRESCO (Kitchener Ontario – Fort Myers Florida - Pic 1) have volunteered at our Fort Myers and Palmetto Winter Information Meetings and at the Kitchener Snowbird Lifestyle Presentations dating back to 2002.

BETTY KELLY (Manotick Ontario – Lakeland Florida) has been a loyal volunteer at the Extravaganzas for ten years as well as helps to distribute material in her area.

DENNIS & ANN KOLISH (Peterfield Manitoba – Mesa Arizona - Pic 2) have been the lead volunteers in Mesa, Arizona for several years. They help organize and co-ordinate the volunteer positions at the Canadian Snowbird Celebration and distribute flyers to all the parks in the Mesa/Phoenix metro area. Prior to their present post they volunteered at the annual Arizona event for over 8 years. They have also helped as volunteers at the Snowbird Lifestyle Presentations are held in Winnipeg.

DOUG MILLER (Toronto Ontario - Pic 3) has dedicated his life and career to helping others. He was the driving force behind the Central YMCA in Toronto, Ontario for over 50 years. Upon retirement, he volunteered once again to help the CSA record our history through his photography and videography skills. For ten years Doug has committed his time and efforts to further the work and goals of the association and has been responsible for hundreds of our new members and many of the photographs you see in the CSANews magazine.

The president and board of directors is pleased to announce the awarding of an HONORARY LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP to CHRISTOPHER BRADBURY in recognition of his ongoing support of the association over many years.
