Winter Texans' Snowbird Celebration - 2 Days

South Padre Island, TX - Citing too much Information, Education and Entertainment for one day, by show organizers, Winter Texans Snowbird Extravaganza is making the leap to a two-day event February 12 (Canada day) and 13, and local Winter Texans couldn't be happier.

Winter Texans Snowbird Extravaganza is completely different than our other shows, says President of Medipac International event organizers.  The response in Texas is completely overwhelming and it has been since our very first show four years ago. We had to turn people away last year and we don't want to do that again.  Everything in Texas is bigger and better, and that's what we’re aiming to deliver with our show this year bigger by a day, and better than ever before.

For the very first time, Winter Texans’ Snowbird Extravaganza will feature an AOL/Gateway Internet Café, and Medipac International will be flying in their Internet professionals to complement the full sponsoring team.  Winter Texans are invited to send e-mail to friends and family, as well as learn the intricacies of the Internet. For some, it may be their first opportunity to try a computer ever.

Featured entertainers at this year’s Winter Texans Snowbird Extravaganza include legendary country music singer Margo Smith and Branson, Missouri's incomparable Jennifer Wilson. Joining Jennifer and Margo will be Ronnie & Glory-Anne Prophet, music award winners and inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Guests of Winter Texans Snowbird Extravaganza will take great interest in the keynote speaker series, which includes informative talks by Canadian Snowbird Association President, Bob Jackson; travel medical insurance specialists from Medipac International and, one of North America's most widely recognized financial experts, Jerry White.

In addition to others, the 100,000-member strong Canadian Snowbird Association is a major sponsor of the event using Winter Texans Snowbird Extravaganza as a prime communication vehicle to reach out-of-country Canadians.  The CSA has undertaken a number of government advocacy initiatives on behalf of its members, says Bob Jackson.  Our plans for the coming year eclipse by far, our work of the past.  Canadians particularly those who travel, are in for a treat.

This year, tickets are necessary to gain admittance.  The procedures are as follows:
