CSA Winter Information and Entertainment Days

Posted date : Feb 26, 2001.Back to list

The Canadian Snowbird Association (CSA) is going back to its roots with town hall meetings and you're cordially invited to attend!

In case you're not able to attend Snowbird Extravaganza in Lakeland, we're bringing the excitement to a location near you. This is an invaluable opportunity to come out and meet the people who are effecting change on your behalf. Spend an afternoon with the Canadian Snowbird Association and learn about recent government and advocacy initiatives. Talk to members of the Board of Directors and share your thoughts and feelings. This meeting is designed to be a mutual sharing of information session.

Your afternoon will begin with a greeting by a member of the CSA Board of Directors, followed by an informative talk by President Bob Jackson, outlining current and upcoming events. The President of Medipac International, will provide a comprehensive overview of next year's insurance plan and, then, the spotlight's on you. We want to hear what you have to say and we're ready to deal with any and all issues during our Question and Answer period.

After business comes pleasure, as Ronnie & Glory-Anne Prophet take the stage in an all-new show. Joining them in a tribute to music's favourite stars - Dean Martin, Anne Murray, Chet Atkins, Connie Francis, Marty Robbins, Patsy Cline and Ray Price, will be Nashville's greatest guitarist, Ray Wix. You're in for a very memorable concert when these professionals take the stage.

All of our Winter Information and Entertainment Days begin at 1:00 p.m., with the doors opening at noon. All venues have ample seating, so be sure to enjoy lunch and then come out to the show there's no need to arrive early to reserve seats. We anticipate the day ending at approximately 3:30, to help you avoid rush hour traffic home.

Tell us what you think where we should be directing our efforts and how we're doing. These Winter Information and Entertainment Days are for you, so let's hear it!

Please feel free to pass this invitation along to your Canadian friends. Tell them about your association be an ambassador. Past research has indicated that our extremely high-Canadian content will be of little interest to your American friends, so we ask that you help us fill the seats with those who will support CSA initiatives.
