If you do catch a cold or the ‘flu this winter, remember:
  • If you're sick, stay home and rest. Keep your cold or 'flu to yourself.
  • Drink lots of liquids, including lemon tea with honey (made with real lemon and hot water).
  • Infrared saunas stimulate the immune system and help ward off a cold.
  • Chills, body ache and a slight fever can be symptoms of what Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners call a wind cold. Treat it with ginger tea to help heat out the cold: place ground ginger in a mug and add boiling water and sweeten with honey.
  • A high fever, severe aches and pains or a lingering illness could be symptoms of a more serious ailment and you should see a health care professional.
Please get your flu shot before you travel, and register early before supplies run out!
