Women Should Replace Knees Sooner Than Men!

Women often have a higher pain threshold than men. So, the longer they wait to undergo knee replacement surgery, the more likely they are to have developed advanced-stage osteoarthritis which can lead to further complications, and pain, after knee replacement surgery.

Typically, knee replacement surgery is delayed until the patient can no longer effectively manage the pain with exercise and medication. This approach is effective with men, but it has shown to be detrimental to women.
