Taking a trusted friend, family member or spouse with you into your doctor's office can improve the overall results of your diagnosis and treatment.

 Apparently, there is more to it than just having someone to write down the prescribed instructions. Having a trusted companion at your side helps open up the lines of communication, increases understanding and provides moral support.
