Your doctor has you on medication to lower your cholesterol, so you can eat what you want and stop exercising, right? ....Wrong!

Heart disease is a complex problem and high cholesterol is only one of the factors which can affect it. It is important to make sure that you eat properly and follow a regular exercise program to avoid obesity, diabetes and hypertension, some of the other factors involved.

In addition, studies have shown that a healthy diet combined with a regular exercise program will enhance the effects of cholesterol-lowering drugs.
