Getting Rid of those Ugly Dust Mites

Wash bedding at least every two weeks, in hot water.
  • Use allergy-proof encasements for your mattresses and pillows.
  • Clean the frame of your bed, thoroughly, with a damp cloth once a week.
  • Use washable pillows filled with a synthetic material and replace pillows every three years.
  • Remove heavy carpeting, if possible.
  • Use non-upholstered furniture.
  • Put away those stuffed toys, unless you wash them weekly.
  • Place stuffed toys in the freezer overnight and then wash them to remove the dead dust mites.
