A Message to All Volunteers

You are the glue that helps us stay together and without your help, it would be diffi cult, if not impossible, to hold our Extravaganzas, Lifestyle shows and Winter Information meetings.

On behalf of the Canadian Snowbird Association and Medipac International Inc., I want to say thank you for all that you do for us. It is, and has been, my pleasure to work with you for many years and, for your loyalty and cooperation, again my personal thanks.

Some of our events are so well supported by volunteers that we have more helpers than we need, but that is a great problem to have.

Because so many of you change your telephone numbers each year, it is increasingly diffi cult to contact you in time to have you put our event date on your calendar.

In order to help us with future events, we are asking you to make one toll-free telephone call as far in advance as possible. This will help us greatly with our planning. We will do our best to reconfi rm with you, your off er to help.

Please call us at 1-877-633-4722 and provide the following information:

  • Your surname, fi rst name and spouse's name (if applicable)
  • Canadian contact number
  • U.S. contact number (if applicable)
  • E-mail address (if you have one)
  • The date on which you will be leaving Canada (for winter meetings only)
  • The fi rst date on which we can contact you in the U.S.
  • The show and dates for which you wish to volunteer.

The toll-free line that we are using is also the same line that we use for our free placemat orders, so please disregard that message and leave the information we need when prompted to do so. If your message happens to be too long for the tape, please call again and let us know that you are completing your volunteer information.

We love e-mails because they usually follow you wherever you go, and we can contact you at any time; feel free to send the above information to marketing@medipac.com. If you do, please cc: me at hazenwalt@aol.com.

Thanks again, and I look forward to working with you this coming season!
