A New Financial Paradigm of the Age of Prosperity

Summer 2000 CSANews Issue 35  |  Posted date : Mar 05, 2007.Back to list

From June, and continuing throughout summer 2000 until Thanksgiving, the CSA, in conjunction with its financial sponsor, Dundee Wealth Management, is presenting more than 60 totally new estate-planning seminars for CSA members, their families and friends. These events will be held in more than 40 communities across Canada from Victoria, B.C. to Halifax, N.S.

This year's series, building on the enormous turnouts and success of last year's program, will be a completely new and unique package FREE to all CSA members. For 2000, we have expanded the program by including two extra admission tickets so that CSA members can also bring along some good friends to these very important events.

You will have a chance to meet senior CSA executives and members of the CSA Board of Directors at most functions, and to receive the latest news on out-of-country health insurance and travel developments. As many of these presentations are breakfast and lunch events, you will have a chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones at the same time.

Each event will run for two hours and will cover, in great detail, such issues as Canada-U.S. taxation, acquiring or selling U.S. property, tax-free estate planning, strategies to reduce your taxes and generate tax-free cash flow, improve investment returns and eliminating financial risk. Other, more specific ideas will also be presented, such as how to set up a family trust, creating a tax-free personal pension plan while retired, building tax-free assets or the next generation, and 50 other in-depth financial action plans for the next five years probably the best five years for increasing our personal net worth that we may ever experience.

In an upcoming issue of the CSA News magazine you will, as a CSA member, receive our completely new Estate Planning Guide for 2000 and our comprehensive 42-point Estate Planning checklist. In addition, as part of our relationship with Dundee Wealth Management, you may also receive a no-cost, no-obligation, one-hour personal financial review from your local Dundee-licensed Financial Advisor who has signed the CSA eight-point code of professional conduct.

Details of this seminar series and a personal letter and invitation (including guest tickets) from the regional CSA director in your area will be coming directly to your home, announcing an event near you. Don't miss it! The program was designed by one of Canada's leading groups of financial, tax and estate-planning experts, including tax accountants, financial advisors, estate lawyers and United States financial experts.

No group, association or financial institution has produced a more complete, detailed and snowbird-specific program. It is new for 2000, and contains all the most recent federal and provincial budget changes. Plan to attend and help the CSA at the same time, by bringing your friends to learn about the CSA. It's the financial event for 2000 and it could greatly improve your financial life.
