Executive Director's Report Issue 34

Winter 1999 CSANews Issue 34  |  Posted date : Mar 04, 2007.Back to list

I have just returned from Florida after attending a two-day CSA Executive Meeting. Your CSA Executive did the final year-end review of last year's budget (CSA fiscal year-end is October 31), and finalized the recommended CSA financial budget for 1999/2000. We put the final touches on the plans for the CSA Annual Meeting, to be held in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, January 22, 2000 and reviewed future plans of action which will be taken on behalf of CSA Members and all Canadians. Come to your annual meeting, meet your fellow members, and hear about your organization and its progress.

Just a reminder, don't forget to check this issue for the places, dates and times of all CSA Winter Information Meetings and Extravaganzas. Mark your calendar; don't miss any of the events that are near you. It is certainly worth the trip. Come for the day, bring your friends, and enjoy the excitement, fellowship, entertainment and information.

You may have noticed in previous issues of CSA News that CSA has two new members' pins and a key chain, which they are making available to members. These pins are handcrafted from genuine pewter and plated with 18-karat gold. The key chain is fashioned of solid brass and antique gold-plating. They are guaranteed to keep their quality look, or you can just send them back for a replacement. Simply call the CSA office at (800) 265-3200 to order your pin today. Wear your membership proudly. All proceeds are used to support programs and services to benefit you, our member.

Getting back to celebrations; on behalf of the CSA Board of Directors and CSA staff, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours, a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with the joy of living and the wealth of learning.
