This Financial Report is an excerpt from the year-end financial statements prepared and audited by Deloitte & Touche, Chartered Accountants. A complete set of financial statements is available for inspection by members at the office of the Canadian Snowbird Association,
180 Lesmill Road, North York, Ontario M3B 2T5. Throughout the past year, the CSA Finance Committee and Board of Directors have been diligent in managing the financial resources of the association. The audited financial statements, which are part of this annual report, show the CSA again to be in a strong and positive financial position. We have attained a surplus budget of $26,072.00 for 1999/2000. Upon looking at our operating fund, the net worth of the association increased by four per cent. Our membership fees totalled $455,000.00 for the year. The CSA Special Action Fund continues to grow through the donations made by our membership - this year, we've recorded a 22 per cent increase over last year. Your generosity will enable the CSA to embark on many new initiatives in the coming year. At this time, I would like to thank those who have renewed their commitment to the CSA and to those who have joined the association for the first time. Alexander Scott |
