The California Snowbird Extravaganza also changed venues this year, and returned to the site of the inaugural California Extravaganza at the National Date Festival Fairground's Fullenwider Auditorium, in Indio. It was a special day for all, as thousands of snowbirds joined us to enjoy the world-class entertainment of special guest stars, Jennifer Wilson and Peter Marino.

The Canadian Snowbird Celebration at the Mesa Community and Conference Center this year surpassed even last year's very successful event. Thousands of CSA members spent the entire day with us, and especially enjoyed the keynote presentations of CSA president Bob Jackson, and Jerry White (speaking on behalf of Dundee Wealth Management). David Bradley from the Country Tonite show in Branson received thunderous applause for his singing and yodeling, as the grand finale of the show.

Mother Nature, unfortunately, did not co-operate for this year's Winter Texan Extravaganza at the South Padre Island Convention Center. Both show days had very dense fog all morning that affected the attendance. The first day of this show was a "Canadian Theme" day that drew in the larger attendance of the two days. Many CSA members braved the driving conditions to visit with the sponsors, listen attentively to the keynote presentations, and be amazed at the yodeling and singing of special guest star, Margo Smith. We changed the sound company this year and received many compliments from Winter Texans about the sound quality and volume, compared to last year. We're planning on another two-day Winter Texan Extravaganza at the same venue next February, but this time without your having to pick up tickets ahead of time.

We would like to thank and express our sincere appreciation to the entire Medipac Communications show team, the CSA Directors & their spouses and all the wonderful volunteers for their help prior to, and during, each of these shows. These events simply could not take place without their support and dedication. We look forward to seeing them and all of you again next winter!
