Do not press 90#!
Do NOT press 90# on your home phone. A person identifying himself as an AT&T service technician conducting a test on our telephone line called a few weeks ago. He stated that to complete the test, I should touch nine (9), zero (0), and then the pound (#) sign and then hang up.
Luckily, I was suspicious and refused. Upon contacting the telephone company, I was informed that by pushing 90#, you give the requesting individual full access to your telephone line, which allows them to place long-distance telephone calls billed to your home number.
I was further informed that this scam has been originating from many of the local jails/prisons. DO NOT press 90# for ANYONE.
Good News Update!
We are thrilled to report that past president Jack Parry is on the road to recovery following his recent bout with prostate cancer. After extensive treatment, Jack reports that his PSA levels are back to normal and he feels great.
Way to go, Jack once a fighter, always a fighter!
