The Canadian residents of this community in Winter Haven, FL hosted a special breakfast and invited me to attend so I could tell their American friends just how much money Canadians spend in Florida during their winter stay. Believe me, it's a lot! Hampton's Can/Am Golf
These two gentlemen, Frank Troke, left, Picton, ON, and Don Lett, Brighton, ON, obviously like to golf with the protection of the RCMP. The threesome was participating in the annual Hampton's Can/Am at Auburndale, FL. By the way, Canada won!
Anglers Green Canada Sports Day
Hosted by Canadians for all residents of Anglers Green, a community located in Mulberry, FL (Lakeland), this event includes day-long competitions in golf, bocci and shuffleboard and ends with a great dinner. As you can see, there are far too many Canadians involved to try and name them. So take a look, maybe you'll see someone you know.
