Canada Club Meetings
If a picture says a thousand words, I have already exceeded my quota for this issue of the CSA News. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed my visits at some of the many Canada Clubs and events held in Florida during the past winter. The following is a representation of a few of the finer moments that I would like to share with you.
The folks at Horizon's End Campground located on Hwy. 27 in Davenport, Florida are set to light up the "barby" for their annual pig roast always a sell-out. Club Franco-Floridiens
Has more than 200 members, mostly French-Canadians, who plan biweekly activities during the winter in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Englewood, Florida. Sahib Temple Canada Day
An annual event, this day is very special to many Canadians who attend the Temple located in Sarasota, Florida. The Sahib Pipes and Drums Band, predominantly Canadian, opened the festivities. Sudbury Annual Picnic
It was a beautiful day on March 22 at Fort Desoto Park in St. Petersburg, Florida where this annual picnic is held. Pictured showing their prizes, and all from the Sudbury area, are (L-R) Gayle McLelland, Maggie Gauthier, Gerry Gauthier and Carol Germa.
