CSA President Ellen White addresses the membershipThe Snowbird Lifestyle Presentation Series was a blast. We started in Ottawa, Ontario and made are way through seven cities finishing the tour in Vancouver, British Columbia. This year was the first time we ever took our events to regions within Canada outside of Ontario and one thing we learned was that this expansion was long overdue.

New cities, new faces and new friends was the name of the game, and every new face who learns about the CSA and the work that they do can be extended into more members, which is what we need to grow and expand the effectiveness of the organization.

Gerry Brissenden and Ronnie Prophet having a laugh on stageWe have learned after three years of producing a condensed "Lifestyle Show" that the theatre format is the most formidable environment for our members and our sponsors to interface with each other. We have tried on several occasions to convert a traditional expo hall into a theatre and have found that only a theatre is a theatre. We enjoyed the Sanderson Centre in Brantford, Ontario; it was a magical place and the civic auditoriums we visited were also well suited for our show. But it doesn't stop there.

Dr. Bob checks the blood pressure of a conscientious memberWe need more venues to produce more shows. We want to extend our tour schedule to include more cities across this great country, we just need to find the right places to do it. One of the greatest compliments our show team received this year was letters from disappointed members asking why our show wasn't coming to their city. Thank you. We are doing all we can to find more "snowbird centers" in Canada and suitable venues in which to conduct our meetings. Thank you for your support and your praise.

Please remember that all this is possible due to the generous support of our sponsors; their desire to grant greater access to their products and services has allowed the CSA to deliver its message to you. We look forward to seeing all of you next year in the fall, and again when we all head south to escape the cold.
