GENERAL CONDITIONS
This document is not an automobile liability policy. It is not intended to comply with the financial responsibility laws of any province.
CSA Auto Club is a pure reimbursement emergency roadside auto club program. When a vehicle breakdown occurs, simply pay for the service and send CSA Auto Club the dated receipt within 30 days of the service call date. See mailing address in HOW TO CLAIM section of this brochure.
Low Annual Membership Fees!
CSA Auto Club offers all first time members a 30 day money back trial period. The $10 activation fee, however, is used for administration-related costs and is non-refundable.
Free Vehicle Substitution
CSA Auto Club registers the vehicle for coverage under the terms and conditions of the emergency roadside auto club membership, not the individual driver. A vehicle of the same rate category may be substituted once per policy period at no cost.
Price For Each Additional Family Member -- FREE!
The CSA Auto Club membership covers a single vehicle. The immediate family members to the purchaser of the vehicle coverage are, therefore, able to benefit from the CSA Auto Club coverage when driving a vehicle that has been registered under the CSA Auto Club membership. The vehicle must be legally operated and with the permission of the registrant.
Maximum Number of Claims per Year (any type) -- 5
In the event that a vehicle which is registered with CSA Auto Club is unable to safely proceed under its own power due to an auto accident which has been reported to the local police, or due to mechanical failure of the vehicle, the vehicle registrant or an immediate family member may engage any licensed garage or service station in the community in which the motor vehicle is disabled, to effect such temporary repairs as will enable the vehicle to safely proceed under its own power. CSA Auto Club will reimburse you the reasonable cost thereof for either temporary repairs or towing, not to exceed the coverage indicated. Maximum five (5) claims per year.
Vehicle Towed to Anywhere YOU Choose? -- YES!
With CSA Auto Club, you or your immediate family member can obtain service from a licensed auto mechanic of your choice within the local community or have the vehicle towed to any licensed repair location facility within the limits of the local community where the breakdown occurred (Where unavailable, to a licensed facility in an immediately adjacent community). CSA Auto Club coverages provided are further specified in the LEGAL LIMITATIONS section of this brochure.

Commercial vehicles are explicitly excluded from this contract. The service rendered by CSA Auto Club is an "emergency service" only, and not a general repair service. It is the intent of the service to enable a motor vehicle to proceed safely under its own power, and if impossible, then to tow the vehicle to a safe place of choice, or a service facility of choice, within the limits of the community where the vehicle is disabled, unless completely unavailable, in which case a licensed facility in an immediately adjacent community is acceptable. This contract does not cover the following:

- Operating a vehicle without a valid driver's license;
- Operating a vehicle without the owner's permission;

- Any claim which appears to be false or fraudulent to CSA Auto Club;
- A vehicle towed for illegal activity, such as illegally parking without permission or required payment;
- Replacement parts for the subject motor vehicle, rental battery and return of same, including other supplies and accessories;
- Court costs, expert fees, subpoenas, photographs, maps and fines;

- Service requiring more than one trip by a service provider, and/or towing charge substantially in excess of the cost to enable the vehicle to proceed safely under its own power.
This service contract may be cancelled by CSA Auto Club by mailing to your address on record written notice stating when (not less than 10 days thereafter) such cancellation shall be effective. The mailing of notice shall be sufficient proof of notice and the effective date and hour of cancellation stated in the notice shall become the end of the contract period.
