 Government Relations Report
Spring 2010 > Issue 74
The third edition of The Canadian Travellers' Report Card was officially released at the Snowbird Extravaganza in Lakeland, Florida this past January. Since then, a copy has been sent to every federal, provincial and territorial elected official in Canada. CSA officials have also been actively discussing the report with members of both the print and electronic media from coast to coast.  Read more

 Government Relations Report Issue 73
Winter 2009 > Issue 73
As our members from Ontario may be aware, we are heading into the fourth month of a strike at all DriveTest locations throughout the province. In Nova Scotia, Conservative Premier Rodney MacDonald’s minority government was defeated by the NDP and leader/premier-elect Darrel Dexter. The NDP won a majority government with 31of the legislature’s 52 seats, the first time in the province’s post-Confederation history that neither the Liberals nor Conservatives will hold power in Nova Scotia.  Read more

 Property Taxes in Florida
Spring 2009 > Issue 70
Like many of you I spent the winter in Florida, which meant that I got a steady dose of Florida politics in my morning paper. What always seems to be the hottest topic in Florida politics? Taxes, particularly property taxes, and this winter was no different.  Read more

 Government Relations Report
Winter 2008 > Issue 69
In the last edition of CSANews, I alluded to the fact that a federal election may well be right around the corner. As we all know, that is indeed what has transpired and at first glance it would appear that not much has changed, or has it?  Read more
