Spring 2011 > Issue 78 By the time you read this, Canada's 41st general election will have come to a close and we will know which party will form our new federal government. To ensure that our concerns received the attention they deserved, the CSA sent letters to the party leaders asking them to clarify their position on the issues that are important to our members. Although the day-to-day provision of most health-care services is the responsibility of our provincial and territorial governments, the Canada Health Act is federal legislation. Winter 2009 > Issue 73 As our members from Ontario may be aware, we are heading into the fourth month of a strike at all DriveTest locations throughout the province. This strike has halted many services including new-driver tests, road tests and driver's licence renewals. The strike began on August 21, and it was widely thought at that time that it would be settled relatively quickly. Clearly, this is not the case. Read more
