Leap Years

If you thought that every four years automatically meant a leap year, you're only partially right. Usually, the rule of thumb is that if a year is divisible by four, it's a leap year. The exception lies in years ending with 00.

In the event of a 00 year, it must be divisible by 400 before it's a leap year. Therefore, we?ll be leaping in the year 2000, but 1900 was just another turn of the century.
