Dear Secretary Becerra, On behalf of over one million Canadian “snowbirds” who travel to the United States annually, I am writing to ask you to review and revise the pending Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regulation changes for travellers entering the United States with their pet dogs which are scheduled to come into effect on August 1, 2024.

I applaud Ross Quigley’s editorial extolling the virtues of the N95 mask to combat the smoke and residue spewing from forest fires. CSA Member Advisory – In August 2023, we notified members that Canadian citizens travelling to certain European countries will soon be required to obtain a permit known as a European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) travel authorization. An ETIAS travel authorisation is an entry requirement for visa-exempt nationals travelling to thirty European countries.
