New U.S. Biometric Entry/Exit Requirements announced by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that may affect Canadians travelling to and from the United States. On October 27, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published a final rule authorizing the government to photograph and collect biometric information from all non-U.S. citizens upon entry to and departure from the United States.
