My insurance agent is telling me that I need extra coverage if I drive my car to Florida for the winter. They say that any vehicle staying in the U.S. for more than 30 days requires special coverage. Is this correct?

U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Rick Scott (R-FL) reintroduced the Canadian Snowbirds Act, legislation that would allow some Canadian citizens to spend up to eight months a year vacationing in the United States, two months longer than they are allowed to stay now.
