With the elimination of the annual vehicle licence fee, many Ontarians registered online and received acceptance of registration in a confirming email, but nothing to attach to our vehicle or ownership as in the past. Is this confirmation an acceptable form of proof in another province or state that our vehicle registration is up to date? Can we remove existing stickers so as not to draw attention to those reading 2022?

CSA Member Advisory – On September 23rd, we notified members of our legal challenge victory against the Ontario Government and the illegal termination of OHIP’s Out-of-Country Travellers Program, which provided emergency out-of-country nsurance coverage for Ontario residents.

CSA is reminding Ontario travellers that OHIP’s Out-of-Country (OOC) Travellers Program is scheduled to be terminated on January 1, 2020.

OHIP’s Out-of-Country (OOC) Travellers Program , which provides reimbursement for Ontario residents who face unexpected medical emergencies while abroad, will officially be scrapped on October 1, 2019.
