We are usually in the U.S. for fewer than 182 days. As long as we file the Form 8840, are we okay to stay in the U.S. for the extra 25 days, or should we shorten our trip?

8840 versus I94

My I94 indicates that we can stay until June, but the rolling year puts us at ‘over by five days’ in February 2023 for the 8840. Why the discrepancy? Which should I use? Anyone got any insights?
