CSA Member Advisory – Effective February 15, 2021, the Government of Canada is requiring that all travellers returning to Canada by land provide a negative COVID-19 molecular test result taken within 72 hours of their entry into Canada.

CSA Member Advisory – Earlier this month, Canada and the United States agreed to extend the restriction on non-essential travel at the land border until at least January 21, 2021.

CSA Member Advisory – Late last week, Canada and the United States officially extended the restrictions on non-essential travel at the land border until December 21, 2020. With surging COVID-19 case numbers in both countries, the land border closure will likely extend well into next year.

CSA Member Advisory – As was reported last week, the Canada/U.S. land border will remain closed to all non-essential travel until at least November 21, 2020. CSA representatives continue to discuss the issue of the border closure with government officials and agencies on both sides of the border.

CSA Member Advisory – Recently, Canada and the United States agreed to extend the land border restriction on all non-essential travel until October 21, 2020. This means that travel for tourism purposes will not be permitted at any land border crossing until at least October 21, 2020, but we anticipate this closure may well extend into 2021.
