I applaud Ross Quigley’s editorial extolling the virtues of the N95 mask to combat the smoke and residue spewing from forest fires. However, if space allowed, I’m sure that he would have alerted readers to the dangers of Valley Fever. CSANews Issue 129 WInter 2023 Edition – Our travel patterns to the U.S. have reverted to pre-Covid levels and we are slightly ahead of the 2019 number of trips. There is one big difference, though – automobile traffic is down by about 15% and travel by air is up. High gas prices and more competition in the airline space (which reduces prices) are changing our normal travel patterns.

My I94 indicates that we can stay until June, but the rolling year puts us at ‘over by five days’ in February 2023 for the 8840. Why the discrepancy? Which should I use? Anyone got any insights?

CSA Member Advisory -Federal officials announced that as of October 1, 2022, all travellers arriving in Canada will no longer have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter Canada or meet COVID-19 testing, quarantine or isolation requirements. All travellers will also no longer have to submit their public health information through ArriveCAN.

Is the CSA even aware of the Form I-94, as I never see any articles or questions about it? This form states how long a Canadian can spend in the U.S. and, every time I cross the border, people set it for only 90 days! It is so frustrating! Last time I asked a border security person to make it April 1, and he said that he had “no clue what I was talking about”!?
