I continue to get conflicting opinions about how long I can safely stay in the U.S. One opinion is no more than 183 consecutive days or 183 days cumulative in a calendar year and the other opinion is 183 days per year, but calculated at 100% of current year days + 1/3 of the year prior days and 1/6 of the two years’ prior days…

Nothing…not one car, truck or bus…not a single other vehicle…contrary to everything we had heard. In fact, the border agent kept us there for an extra 10 mins to chat about deer and wild turkeys and ask us questions about living in Mexico because he was bored..

Is the CSA even aware of the Form I-94, as I never see any articles or questions about it? This form states how long a Canadian can spend in the U.S. and, every time I cross the border, people set it for only 90 days! It is so frustrating! Last time I asked a border security person to make it April 1, and he said that he had “no clue what I was talking about”!?

We have heard that if we snowbirds have a residence address in the U.S., that we would be exempted from the travel restriction currently in place…

Just received my summer issue and reading the letter from J. Ross Quigley. Note that he indicates in the third paragraph that the border to the United States is now open, which it is not.

When I read the CSA magazine, I see articles pertaining to FLORIDA almost exclusively. A little bit is mentioned about Arizona, but hardly ever is California mentioned. I would like to see more representation for the Western Canada snowbirds who flock to California.
