I just wanted to commend Mr. Quigley for his Editor’s Message delivered in our current issue of CSANews. Being an annual traveller to Florida for the winter, I enjoyed a very similar, enjoyable experience with friends in the Sunshine state.

Regardless of your political views, the proposed tariffs on Canadian goods are driving down the Canadian dollar and turning friends and family off, regarding visiting Florida. Many snowbirds are seriously considering other winter locations…

We are just looking to confirm that we can be away from Nova Scotia and be in the U.S. for a total of seven months now without losing our medical coverage in Nova Scotia?

If I go into the U.S. for a month, then go to Mexico for three months, then back to the U.S., do the three months count in my time allowed in the U.S.? I get entrance and exit stamps from Mexico.

We are taking a Panama Canal cruise leaving from Fort Lauderdale, returning from Panama City, Panama. We will only be in the U.S. for the one day, but do we have to count the entire trip as being in the U.S.?
