Association addresses Florida Property Tax Reform Committee
CSA president Gerry Brissenden, accompanied by CSA legal counsel Wallace Weylie, addressed the Florida Property Tax Reform Committee at their meeting in Tampa Florida on Friday November 17, 2006. The opportunity for the association to make a formal in-person deputation to the committee was the result of a separate meeting that the president had recently with Florida Governor Jeb Bush in Tallahassee.

IRS 8840 – Closer Connection Form
If you do not have to file a 2007 U.S. tax return, the deadline to submit the Closer Connection (8840) form is June 16, 2008. If you must file a U.S. tax return the deadline is April 15, 2008. One completed form is required per person, not per household or couple. Keep a photocopy for your records.
